Email contact@offlinguo.com. A real person reads it. Tell us your iPhone model, your iOS version, and the language pair you were translating, and we can usually work out what happened without a back and forth.

There is no account system, so there is nothing to log in to and no password to reset.

Open Settings inside the app and install the offline engine. It is a download of roughly 2.2 GB, so use wifi and leave the app open while it runs. Once it is installed, the supported languages work with no connection at all.

Not every language works offline. The app marks which ones do. If the pair you want is not among them, it needs a connection, and it will tell you rather than return something wrong.

If the download fails partway, start it again. It does not re-download what it already has. If it keeps failing, you are most likely out of disk space; the app checks before it starts, but a phone that fills up mid-download will stop.

Go to Settings on your iPhone, then General, then Keyboard, then Keyboards, then Add New Keyboard, and pick Offlinguo.

Then tap it in that list and turn on Full Access. The keyboard needs it for one reason: without it, iOS blocks a keyboard extension from reaching the network, so it cannot translate. It does not log what you type, and it turns itself off in password fields.

To use it, tap the globe key while typing in any app until Offlinguo appears.

Your translation history lives on your phone. Delete individual entries, or everything at once, from the History screen or from Settings. Turning history off in Settings offers to delete what is already saved.

On our side there is no account and nothing that identifies you, only service telemetry that deletes itself after 30 days. If you want that removed sooner, email us with the device identifier shown in Settings. The privacy policy spells out exactly what is and is not stored.

It will sometimes, and it can be wrong in ways that read perfectly fluently. Offlinguo is good for menus, signs, directions and everyday conversation. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical communication.

Offline translation is a smaller model than the online one, so if a result looks off and you have a connection, try again online. Numbers, times and idioms are the usual weak spots offline.

If you hit a bad one worth fixing, send us the language pair and the input text. That is genuinely useful.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us. To view, change or cancel one, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the period you already paid for intact.

Refunds are handled by Apple through their Report a Problem flow. We cannot issue them ourselves, though we are happy to help you work out what went wrong first.
